I have also tried one other Windows 7 CD (The Restore CD from my laptop), and a legit Windows XP CD to no avail. I did however get it to locate the 'Installer disc" by mounting the ISO to a virtual drive, but then upon reboot, I just get the error message "NO BOOT DEVICE". For the first time when you install Windows on. NOTHING will recognize as a Windows installer disc (says boot camp). Once you have created a bootable USB flash drive for Windows, then download the Boot Camp driver for Windows. I have also tried using a USB Drive, formatted every which way I have read. Doing it another way I have found online, and holding down alt/option on boot only brings up my main Mac HD, and a recovery partition. Every time I try to use boot camp I just get the error "The installer disc could not be found". I have burned it at least 6 different times, with different burning utilities (Including Toast 11 Ultimate) to no avail. I downloaded the Windows 7 ISO from Microsofts website (I have a product key already). I'm trying to install Windows 7 on my iMac. I have tried absolutely everything I can find online to remedy this, and I just can't get anything to work properly.
